Delays on M25 after woman seen walking on sliproad near Dartford

Drivers are facing delays on the M25 after reports of a woman walking on a slip road near Dartford.

Highways England said a slip-road at Junction 1b had been closed this morning, leading to heavy traffic on the clockwise carriageway.

Kent Police confirmed they were called at 10.27am to a report of a woman walking on the hard shoulder of the slip road.

Officers attended and a temporary road closure was put in place.

They said the woman was located and passed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service.

Traffic was earlier reported to be queuing back over the bridge into Essex, but is now said to be clearing.
