Driver quizzed after hit-and-run

A 22-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and questioned in connection with a hit-and-run incident.

The victim, a 21-year-old man, suffered serious injuries when he was struck by a car in the early hours of Sunday morning at the junction of East Hill and Home Gardens at Dartford.

The victim, from Dartford, remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

The 22-year-old man has been released on bail pending further enquiries. Police are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.
