Fire crews called to crash on the A2, before the B225 exit for Bluewater, Bean and Greenhithe.

Firefighters were called to a crash between a lorry and a car on the A2 last night.

Crews were called at 7.30pm to Watling Street, coastbound, just before the B225 exit for Bluewater, Bean and Greenhithe.

All of the passengers had been released before they got there, and nobody is thought to have been seriously injured.

The police, ambulance and highways agency were also in attendance.

Fire crews made the scene safe and police left the scene at 8.12pm.

They were also called to East Hill at 4.30am this morning after a lady had fallen and got stuck in some brambles.

Crews managed to untangle her in 20 minutes.

She is not reported to have been injured.
