Firefighters raced to a kitchen blaze in Dartford.

Crews were called just before 4.30pm to the two-storey home in Mount Pleasant Road.

They had to wear breathing apparatus and found the property smoke-logged when they arrived.

Two fire engines were sent to the scene but no injuries were reported.
