Appeal after gunpoint robbery at Co-op in Dartford

Detectives are appealing for information after a robbery at a supermarket.

Officers were called to the Co-op store, in Colney Road, Dartford just after 10pm yesterday after a man threatened staff with what appeared to be a handgun before leaving with a quantity of cigarettes and money.

The suspect, who fled on foot, was around 6ft tall and of medium build, and was wearing dark clothing.

No one was hurt during the incident.

Investigating officers would like to speak with anyone who saw anything suspicious or has information regarding this incident.
