Man charged with criminal damage at Orchards shopping centre in Dartford

A man has been charged with criminal damage after reportedly making threats and kicking a glass door at a shopping centre.

Lisle Aylett, 27, of no fixed address, was arrested outside the Orchards shopping centre in Dartford.

He has since been charged with criminal damage, possession of cannabis and threatening behaviour after the incident on Saturday at about 8.20pm.

Kent Police spokesman Vicki Foster said: "When officers arrived they arrested a man just outside the centre."

Aylett was bailed following the charges and is set to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 24.
