Bearded man hunted after 'armed' robbery in Dartford

A manhunt is underway after a robbery reportedly carried out by a bearded man with a weapon.

The incident happened at 5.50pm on Wednesday in Phoenix Place, Dartford.

A police spokesman said: "The victim was walking to his vehicle when he was approached by a man who demanded money.

"The suspect told the victim he was in possession of a concealed weapon."

During the attack the suspect grabbed the victim’s phone before running off towards a nearby block of flats.

The suspect is described as white, aged around 25 and with a dark beard.

He was wearing a black hooded top.
