Dartford shooting victim Kevin McKinley

Jurors have started deliberating how and why a father-of-three came to be shot and killed in the street.

The seven men and five women will consider all the evidence, expert opinion and witness interviews they have heard in the case of Michaela Sargeant and Lewis Wickenden.

Sargeant denies the murder and manslaughter of Kevin McKinley, who was shot and killed on the evening of February 12 in Merryweather Close, Dartford.

Her partner Wickenden, who she lived with in Overy Street, denies assisting an offender and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
