Long delays remain at the Dartford Crossing after one of the tunnels was closed.

The west tunnel was shut to traffic this afternoon after a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) broke down.

Queues stretched back along the A282 towards junction 2 of the M25.

The HGV has now been removed and the tunnel reopened but there are still long delays, Highways England said.
