Air ambulance lands in Longfield after man suffers head injuries in go-kart accident

A man has suffered head injuries after an accident involving a go-kart near Dartford.

Emergency services were called to an address in Longfield at about 3.40pm yesterday.

The man was treated at the scene before before flown to hospital.

Medics from the Kent air ambulance, which landed in a garden, took him to King's College Hospital, in London.

A crew from South East Coast Ambulance Service was also called to the Longfield address.

The man's age and condition are unknown.
