A large lorry blocked one of the tunnels at the Dartford Crossing earlier this afternoon.

The driver of the over-height lorry apparently used the wrong lane to get into the tunnel two which held back traffic for about 10 minutes.

Daniel f @dfseatleon posted this picture on twitter at about 1.30pm.

Highways England said the lorry entered the wrong tunnel but that the incident had now been cleared.

However, traffic was still slow on the M25 anti-clockwise from Junction 3.
