Man 'threatening others with knives' in Pinewood Place, Dartford

Police have arrested a man after he was seen allegedly brandishing several knives.

The suspect was said to have been threatening others in Pinewood Place, Dartford, in the early hours of this morning.

Police confirmed there have been no injuries, and a 43-year-old man is now in custody.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Kent Police was called at 1.20am on Wednesday 14 June to a report of a disturbance in Pinewood Place, Dartford.

"Officers attended and arrested a 43-year-old man on suspicion of affray.

"Three knives were also seized.

"The arrested man remains in custody and enquiries into the circumstances behind the incident are ongoing."
