Man from Dartford arrested on suspicion of robbery in Spital Street

A man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery.

Police officers on patrol in Dartford were approached by someone who said they were punched in the face and robbed of cash in Spital Street, Dartford, at around 4pm on Saturday, November 3.

The victim went to a nearby shop where he reported the incident to police who later arrested a man in his 50s from Dartford fitting the description given to them.

Police spokesman, Vicki Foster, said: "The man was arrested in Spital Street at around 6.30pm on suspicion of robbery.

"He has since been released under investigation pending further inquiries."
