Police are appealing for witnesses to a car crash, after which a man was found unconscious in a park.

The man, described as being in his 20s, was found in The Brent area of Dartford with serious, but non life-threatening injuries following the collision yesterday.

The discovery came after a smash in Watling Street at 4am in which a Vauxhall Astra had crashed into parked cars having failed to stop for police.

According to Kent Police the car's occupants had then fled the scene, but a police search of the area later discovered the injured man.
