Martin Welsh continued his fledgling professional fight career with a sixth straight win at the Goresbrook Leisure Centre in Dagenham.

The undefeated 29-year-old from Swanley claimed a points victory over durable Lancastrian William Warburton with referee Kieran McCann scoring the six round contest 59-55 in his favour.

It was Welsh’s third fight this year and he has already been lined up with another bout next month. As yet no opponent has been named but Welsh is due to fight at York Hall in Bethnal Green on June 20.
