Video shows motorbike stolen by people on horse and cart in Hayes Road, Dartford

Footage of a man and young boy stealing a motorbike while riding a horse and cart has appeared online.

The incident happened in Hayes Road, Dartford on Tuesday at around 3.40pm and the minute long clip shows the pair wheel the bike away next to their horse.

The bike owner, who wants to remain anonymous, took to Facebook to try and find his KTM Duke.

He posted: "Let's make this bike to hot to handle.

"My KTM Duke was stolen today at 3.45pm from Dartford, please could people share this post I would really appreciate it. Reg is GC19FMK."

During the video the horse, which is being ridden by a man in a grey hoodie, slowly walks off as the younger boy holds the yellow and orange bike by his side.

Police spokesman Martin Very said: "Police received a report at 5.48pm on Tuesday that a bike parked in Hayes Road, Dartford, had been stolen.

CCTV showed the pair riding off with a bike on Tuesday in Dartford (16477146)

"At present no arrests have been made and initial enquiries are underway."
