Bluewater won't be holding a fireworks display this year.

The Greenhithe-based shopping centre is not taking part in the November tradition and has instead opted for a more festive event later in the month.

Instead, Christmas lights will be turned on from Thursday, November 7.

The last time there wasn't a fireworks display at the shopping centre was in 2017.

Bluewater will open their popular Santa's Grotto and a new larger Ice Rink will be open from Thursday, November 14.
