An overturned crane has caused part of a road to be shut.

Police were called to the incident in Bob Dunn Way, Dartford, at around 5.40am this morning.

It is at the junction with Burnham Road and 'large parts of the road' have had to be shut.

The Dartford police team advised motorists on Twitter to avoid the area if possible.

No serious injuries have been reported and officers are at the scene.
