Two men were arrested after a police chase through the streets of Dartford and Greenhithe.

It comes after police tried to stop a vehicle at 2.40pm yesterday in Alamein Gardens, Dartford.

When it didn't stop, officers chased the car to Steele Avenue, Greenhithe, where both the driver and passenger were said to have fled the scene.

The police chase ended in Greenhithe

Two men, aged 23 and 33 and both from Greenhithe, were arrested for various driving offences and two bilkings, or making off without payment.

The 23-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.
