Two people were left trapped after the car they were travelling in crashed into a roundabout, near a busy shopping centre.

Firefighters were called to the Bean Lane roundabout, just off the A2 London bound for Bluewater, at 11.15am.

The car had flipped onto its side after the crash.

Firefighters freed the pair and passed them into the care of a waiting ambulance crew.

It is not known if they received any serious injuries.
