Police called to A2 near Dartford Heath after concerns for woman's welfare

Traffic was held on the A2 earlier due to concerns for a woman's welfare.

Drivers in both directions were delayed at A2018 near Dartford Heath at around 8.50am as police dealt with the incident.

Officers received a call at around 8.20am following reports of concern for a women.

They headed to Denton Road, Dartford, and she was placed into the care of medical professionals.

Traffic conditions are back to normal in the area.
