Police were called to a pizza restaurant on Monday afternoon following reports of a robbery.

Witnesses say officers taped off Pizza Hut in Dartford's Prospect Place retail park, both at the back and front of the restaurant.

A Kent Police spokesman confirmed they received a call to a business in Prospect Place at just gone 1pm, but no money is believed to have been taken.

They said: "We can confirm that an attempted robbery took place at our Dartford store yesterday.

"The safety of our team members and guests remains our priority and no one was harmed during yesterday's incident.
