Dartford: Co-op on Chastillian Way taped off by police following a reported armed robbery

Kent Police are investigating following reports of an armed robbery of a store in Dartford.

According to posts on social media it happened at the Co-op on Chastillian Road in Dartford at around 7:40pm on Saturday, 6 January 2018.

The police helicopter has also been spotted overhead.

Two men reportedly demanded money from a cashier as they entered the shop, one of whom appeared to be armed with a handgun.

Kent Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward with any information.
