Toyota Aygo stolen from Dartford blocks Swanscombe pavement after crashing into parked cars

A man has been arrested after a stolen car ended up stuck on a pavement after crashing into parked vehicles in icy conditions.

This morning, a Toyota Aygo was seen blocking the path outside homes in Herbert Road, Swanscombe.

The car was stolen from Phoenix Place, Dartford, at around 8am.

A police spokesman said: "Officers have arrested a man after a car was stolen on Tuesday, December 13.

"The car was later involved in a collision with stationary vehicles and a property in Herbert Road, Swanscombe.

"A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of theft, dangerous driving and driving under the influence of drugs."
