Police appeal for witnesses after jewellery stolen from Eynsford home found at nearby railway station

A quantity of jewellery stolen during a burglary has been found at a railway station.

Rings, necklaces, a watch, and other items were stolen from a home in Station Road, Eynsford on Tuesday between 9.45am and 12.15pm.

It was all later discovered under a seat on the Sevenoaks-bound platform at Eynsford railway station.

Officers would like to speak to anyone with information about the incident, particularly any commuters who may have witnessed the jewellery being left at the station.

Witnesses are asked to call the appeal line on 01622 604100 quoting reference YY/22499/17.
