Three teenage boys have been arrested on suspicion of committing a series of robberies in Dartford, including mugging a 15-year-old boy at knifepoint.

Officers have been carrying out enquiries following reports of three robberies in the town in just over a week.

A 15-year-old boy was walking home from school when he was approached by three people on a nearby footpath. It is believed the victim was threatened with a knife and his mobile phone and iPod were taken.

A 17-year-old from Bexley, a 17-year-old from Sidcup and a 15-year-old from Swanscombe, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and bailed until 15 June pending further enquiries.
