Olympic Swimmer Chris Cook with Brent Primary School pupils

Olympic swimmer Chris Cook has been helping pupils improve their swimming skills.

Chris visited the Brent Primary School, Dartford, at the beginning of the year to talk to them about their goals and ambitions and came back last week.

He helped the children set their own motivating targets and action plans.

To end the project Chris has been working with Brent’s regular swimming teacher, Steven O’Neill to help the pupils swimming skills advance further.

The Parent, Staff and Friends Association, a charity made up of staff, parents and volunteers at the school hold regular fundraisers to keep the school’s own swimming pool open.

Chris was a 2008 finalist in the Beijing Olympic games.
