Road reopens after van crash in Crockenhill

A white van flipped onto its side in a crash on a country lane this morning.

The collision involved two vans and happened in Daltons Road, Swanley. Police were forced to close the road earlier today, so the vehicle could be recovered.

There were no injuries reported.

Police in Sevenoaks tweeted saying: "Early shout for PC Christy and PC du Preez for a #RTC in #Crockenhill.

"Thankfully no one injured! We can also confirm the road was blocked, but recovery have been and gone and the road is open.

"Please take road conditions into consideration in damp/wet/cold conditions."

Police spokesman Scarlet Drayson said: "Kent Police received a report of a collision involving two vans at 7.43am on Saturday 17 November 2018.

"Officers attended the scene in Daltons Road in Swanley. No injuries were reported.

"The road was closed for recovery as one of the vans had rolled over. The road was clear by 10.30am."
