Wings go in search of clean sheet hat-trick

WELLING are aiming to make it three consecutive Nationwide Conference South clean sheets when they entertain Basingstoke at Park View Road on Saturday.

The Wings followed up their 2-0 win at Bognor Regis Town with a goalless draw against Cambridge at the weekend.

Midfielder Jamie Day (ankle) is doubtful after coming off against Cambridge with Keith Rowland and Steve Perkins will battle it out to start should Day not make it.

Manager Adrian Pennock said: "I think the players are focused on what we need to do now. If we win our home games and get a point away from home then we’ll be in the play-offs."
