A woman had to be cut free from her car after a crash in West Kingsdown.

Firefighters were called to the two-car accident near the Gamecock pub on London Road at just after 7.30pm.

They used hydraulic equipment to free the woman, and then handed her over to ambulance crews, before making the scene safe and leaving around half an hour later.
