Witness appeal after woman kicked to floor in car park in Orchard Street in Dartford

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was reportedly kicked to the floor and repeatedly hit in a car park.

The alleged incident happened in Orchard Street in Dartford between 10pm and 11pm on Tuesday, April 3.

A man is said to have pushed a woman into the street, before chasing her to a nearby car park and kicking her to the floor.

Police would especially like to speak to a man who helped the woman home

She is then reported to have suffered further kicks and punches to her legs and arms.

A 38-year-old man from Gravesend has been arrested in connection with the offence however officers are appealing for witnesses to gain further information.

They would especially like to speak to a man who stopped the assault and then helped the woman back to her home address.

The 38-year-old arrested in connection with the offence has been released on bail until Tuesday, May 1.
