THERE are just four days to go until adrenalin junkies take the plummet to raise money for charity.

First to take the seven-storey plunge is set to be Det Chp Insp Julia Chapman of North Kent Police, Dartford MP Dr Howard Stoate and Gravesend head teacher John Stanley at North West Kent College, this Saturday.

The three prominent members if the community have agreed to take part in our first Over the Edge event, as long as the cash keeps rolling in.

And there is still time for you to pledge your donations.

Once Mr Stanley, head teacher of St John's Secondary School, Gravesend, Dr Stoate and Det Ch Insp Chapman, have had £100 sponsorship each placed in their name, they must rope up and take the leap at the college building on Oakfield Lane, Dartford.

The Over the Edge events starts at 9am followed by fund-raising members of the public taking to the rope.

All the money raised from the event will go to the Lollipop Appeal Darent Valley Hospital and the Kent Messenger Walking Bus Group.

To get the trio Over the Edge go to www.justgiving.com/dartfordovertheedge.
