Madjid Bougherra could be on his way out of The Valley

Charlton and Blue Square Premier club Forest Green Rovers have agreed an undisclosed fee for striker Stuart Fleetwood without referring the case to a and independent tribunal.

Fleetwood, 22, signed a three-year deal for the Addicks on June 16 after moving from Forest Green where the Wales Under-21 international scored 36 goals in last season's Blue Square Premier to win the Golden Boot award.

Though Fleetwood was out of contract, Charlton had to pay a fee for him because he was under the age of 24.

Forest Green secretary Colin Peake confirmed: "We are more than pleased with the outcome of our discussions with Charlton. Everyone at the club wishes Stuart well."

Glasgow Rangers, Newcastle, Portsmouth, Middlesbrough and Wigan were rumoured to be interested.
