Burman looks to bring in new blood

Dartford manager Tony Burman is attempting to sign players capable of taking Dartford out of the doldrums ahead of Saturday's FA Trophy tie at St Albans.

Darts have lost all of their last three games in November and Burman was especially disappointed with his team's second half performance in Tuesday's 4-1 defeat at Tonbridge.

"It may be difficult getting players in now because many are Trophy tied," said Burman. "But I'm determined to strengthen the side. Saturday's tie is a big game for us because we need to start winning and, of course, the prize money would be more than handy."

Burman will almost certrainly look to beef up a defence that was often in disarray against Tonbridge."

He conceded: "We certainly need to be a lot tigher in that department so we have a lot of work to do in training."
