There were clear winners of the Dartford Half-Marathon on Sunday.

John Payne, of London-based Victoria Park Harriers, finished more than a minute and a half ahead of the rest of the field, completing the undulating course in a time of 1hr12min07sec.

Central Park Athletics runner Joshua Teece was second in 1:13.48, with Mark Wilkins, of Medway & Maidstone AC, third in 1:15.05

The race, hosted by Dartford Harriers, took runners on a route through the streets of the town and then some secluded country lanes. Some steep hills were encountered along the way with some stunning countryside on view.
