Bromley boss Mark Goldberg wants his side to stop conceding from set pieces

Hampton & Richmond v Bromley

Bromley manager Mark Goldberg has urged his side to cut out their defensive errors ahead of Saturday's Blue Square South trip to Hampton.

The Lillywhites had to settle for a point against Chelmsford in midweek after conceding an equaliser from a set play.

Goldberg believes that they can pocket all three points against Hampton - if they cut out the mistakes.

"I will need to address the sloppy goals we are conceding," said Goldberg.

"It was a good performance against Chelmsford but we conceded the second goal from another set piece.

"We've got to focus on repeating the workrate we showed in that game against Chelmsford this weekend and then I think our football will come through for us."

The Bromley boss praised the performance of former Crystal Palace left-sided midfielder Ryan Hall, who is destined for big things according to Goldberg.

He added: "Ryan was released by Palace and we're grateful to have him with us.

"He is going to add a lot of class and work ethic to our team, and I'm sure he sees us as a shop window for him."

Goldberg revealed that two senior players did not train on Thursday night but he hopes they will be passed fit before kick-off.
