He made 489 appearances for Dartford - the sixth-highest in their history, and scored 45 goals.

A club statement stated: "For most of those years, Lee would have been one of the first names on the teamsheet, particularly during Tony Burman’s reign as manager as well as the first player to agree terms for a new season.

"Aggressive, hardworking, passionate are just 3 adjectives to describe Lee. He has also been extremely loyal and respectful to the club and become more than just a player. He has become a supporter of the club and been one of the greatest players to have played for Dartford.

"We wish Lee well wherever he chooses to play next and we look forward to seeing him back at Princes Park just as soon as is possible."

Noble scored the only goal of the 2012 Play-off final against Welling at Princes Park which earned Darts promotion to the top flight of non-league football. he also won the Isthmian League Division 1 North and two Kent Senior Cups during his time at the club.

He was granted a testimonial last year, which will be staged in due course when supporters are able to attend.
