Havant & Waterlooville v Bromley

Mark Goldberg has warned his Bromley squad to learn their lessons from the first two games.

The Bromley boss believes his side were outmuscled on the opening day by Maidenhead before they lacked composure at Bishop's Stortford on Tuesday night.

It is something that he wants to see put right, starting at Havant on Saturday.

"We know where we've gone wrong," said Goldberg.

"We were out-battled in the first game and we didn't keep our composure in the final 20 minutes on Tuesday (against Bishop's Stortford).

"They are big lessons to learn and we will always respond."

Blue Square South pre-season title favourites Havant provide the opposition next for the Lillywhites but Goldberg does not believe there is any greater significance on the game.

"I don't think it should be seen as any bigger than our first two games," said Goldberg.

"We've got an opportunity to test ourselves now and have already learnt more from our first two games than we did in pre-season."

Bromley made two changes for the trip to Bishop's Stortford and Goldberg will have to decide whether to give summer signing Jay May his first action of the season following his move from Dartford.

He added: "We'll always make changes if things aren't working. I won't sit back, the idea is to get a formula that works.

"I'm disappointed by the first two games but I'm not despondent."
