A twenty-year-old man from Walmer has pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer.

On February 8, this year, Robbie Bruce Holmes-Brown, 20, of York Road, assaulted a police officer in the execution of his duty in Deal.

Magistrates sentenced him on March 10, at Channel Magistrates’ Court, ordering him to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months, pay £100 in compensation, £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
