Musicians from across Europe will be joined by former Royal Marines from the Deal area on Sunday for the 20th anniversary All Stars Band concert.

The annual performance at the Winter Gardens, Margate, raises money for good causes and was first held after the 1989 IRA bombing of the School of Music at Walmer, which killed 11 men.

Musicians on Sunday will be travelling from across the country, as well as Holland and Malta.

It will be Capt David Cole’s second year as director of music and the programme includes film themes and classical pieces, ending with A Life On The Ocean Wave.

Profits will go to the Royal Marines Band Benevolent Fund, as well as other charities. All tickets for Sunday’s concert are sold out.
