Veteran paceman Gary Rowlands took an incredible seven wickets for just eight runs off six overs as Ash thrashed Lordswood 3rds by eight wickets in Feeder League East 1D.

Not a single Lordswood batsman reached double figures as Rowlands ripped through the order. The home side were dismissed for 41 in 24 overs with Steve Larkins weighing in with 3-16 off eight overs to complete the rout.

Ed Norman rattled 26 not out as the visitors reached their target in 12 overs for the loss of just two wickets.

A knock of 65 from Craig Snell, pictured above, was not enough to prevent Sandwich falling to back-to-back defeats as Hythe sneaked a two-wicket win at The Butts in Kent League Division 1 on Saturday.
