Music and singing followed by a parade headed by Deal Carnival Court combine for Deal Memorial Bandstand Christmas Carol Concert on Saturday on Walmer Green.

The annual event off The Strand starts at 5pm and will be led by the bandstand chaplain the Rev Seth Cooper. Music will be provided by Snowdown Colliery Welfare Band.

Steve Parks from the bandstand trust said: "People just need to wrap up warm, bring a torch and come along and join in.

"Children from Sholden Church of England Primary School in Deal will be leading the singing and carol sheets are kindly printed for us by Walmer Parish Council."

Deal Memorial Bandstand Christmas Concert will be followed by the Christmas Carnival orgsnised by Deal, Walmer and Kingsdown Regatta Association.
