Boy, 11, suffers head and arm injuries and taken to hospital after crash in Folkestone Road, Dover

A boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Dover.

It happened on Folkestone Road at about 6pm last night.

The 11-year-old is understood to have suffered head and arm injuries and is being treated at King's College hospital in London.

The air ambulance was called but not needed to take the boy to hospital.

It is believed the boy was a pedestrian and the crash involved a van and a car.
