A 14-year-old boy from Deal has been arrested after he was caught behind the wheel in a vehicle he'd allegedly stolen.

Police were called to a report of a vehicle theft in London Road just after 9pm on Tuesday.

Officers attending the scene arresting a 14-year-old boy on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without consent, driving without insurance and a road traffic offence.

He was released pending further enquiries.
