A 32-year-old man was arrested and charged on Saturday morning in Dover on suspicion of shoplifting.
Ryan George Haynes of Grantham Avenue, Deal, allegedly stole DVDs and CDs from WH Smith and the British Heart Foundation shops in Dover.
Haynes was released on bail to answer before Folkestone Magistrates on April 14.
