A good cause that rescues and rehomes dogs Is calling for more entrants to its online competition to raise cash for this adorable pooch’s medical treatment.

Futures for Dogs is running the competition on Facebook and is hoping to bring CJ the Jack Russell back to health.

A Futures for Dogs spokeswoman, who does not wish to be named, said: “CJ is our latest little lad to arrive into our care needing lots of help.

Stray dog CJ needs medical treatment and Futures for Dogs' competition will help pay for that

“After being hit badly by a car he has two broken hips and is very lucky to be alive.

“Sadly no owner came forward for him and, as a stray, the council would not pay for vet care and wanted to put him to sleep.
