A Deal man is to go on trial in June accused of causing grievous bodily harm to a man in Queen Street last July.
Nathan Mitford, of St James Close, Deal pleaded not guilty to the offence on his 35th birthday when he appeared at Canterbury Crown Court.
In the dock with him was Robbie Brannan, 25, of Kirk Gardens, Deal who admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm on Daniel Carr.
He was remanded on bail until his sentencing hearing later this year.
