A Deal woman has taken to Facebook to appeal for help in locating her son’s missing pram.

Gemma Jones, of Leivers Road, claimed it was 'stolen' from the communal hallway of her flat on Friday morning.

Her neighbour, Lorna Clay, said: "They will have to purchase a replacement - not a cheap thing to buy six weeks before Christmas."

It also contained a pair of children’s high-top Adidas trainers.

A police spokesman confirmed: “The pram, containing a child’s trainers, was reported to have been left outside the front of the property at about 3pm on November 20. It was then reported missing at 10am on November 21.”

Ms Jones said people with information should contact the police on 101, quoting crime reference number: ZY/38145/14.
