Michael Kerr was found dead in Capel-le-Ferne

A young woman choked back tears today as she denied stabbing a budding DJ to death in his car in Capel-le-Ferne.

Charlotte Coulson, 21, is said to have fatally attacked 30-year-old Michael Kerr.

She appeared close to tears as she spoke to enter a formal not guilty plea to a charge of murder.

Co-accused Alicia Davis, 22, has yet to enter a plea and will next appear in court on September 6.

The pair are due to stand trial on October 8. The case is expected to last up to three weeks.

Davis, of Milner Crescent, Aylesham, and Coulson, of Clarendon Street, Dover, are remanded in custody.
