NAS Deal has started a new fun club for children with autism at St Leonard's Church hall

A new fun club for children with autism started on Saturday at St Leonard’s Church hall.

Deal NAS fun club takes place on the second Saturday of each month from 10.30am until 12.30pm.

Activities include bouncy castles, decorating biscuits, computer games and much more.

The club welcomes all families with or awaiting diagnosis for autism.

Anna Palmer, volunteer for NAS said: “It is a great way to meet others and chat in relaxed surroundings.”

The group is also asking members of the community to participate in Onesie Wednesday on April 1.

Those who wish to show their support can don a onesie, or pink and purple clothes to work for the day and bring their donations to Sandown Primary School in Deal for collection.

The money raised will go towards summer events for children in Deal and the surrounding areas.
